POLICE have arrested a man accused of deliberately killing several emu with his car on a rural road and then posting a video of it on Facebook.
The man had filmed himself intentionally running over a flock of emus in his four-wheel-drive
and laughing as he counts each emu he runs over, before turning the camera on his own face.
His ex-girlfriend revealed his identity but we could not verify the source at this time.
He his allegedly from the small country town of Pinnaroo in South Australia.
The accused man has since shut down his social media accounts after the video began circulating online.

Police in Victoria said on Friday that the 20-year-old man faces several charges of animal cruelty, destruction of protected wildlife and traffic violations.
In the video, a man with a moustache can be seen laughing as he drives into each bird.
An animal welfare group had issued a nationwide appeal for help in finding the man.
Police said the emu killings occurred this month in northwestern Victoria on Pellaring Road at Cowangie in Victoria’s northwest, close to the SA border, some time between September 1 and 20.
The man is due to face Ouyen Court on November 9.
